Carol & Mike Francis and Adrian Bradbury – Exhibition ' Canfas' gallery, Cardigan

Canfas’ gallery in Cardigan continues its new and innovative streak of exhibitions with drawings and paintings from acclaimed Pembrokeshire based ceramicists Carol and Mike Francis in the upstairs gallery Oriel 4 and abstract digital artist Adrian Bradbury’s Fine art prints downstairs in Oriel 2.
Carol and Mike have been producing award winning hand painted ceramics since1980, selling to customers in over 30 different countries and producing work for esteemed clients including Hampton Court, Harvey Nichols, Fortnum and Mason, Tower of London, Kensington Place, Harrods and Victoria and Albert Museum amongst others.
“We both have a fine art background, Mike studying painting at the Royal College of Art, and Carol studying painting at the Royal Academy Schools.”
With Mike adding “Painting and drawing has always been his deepest held conviction and preferred medium and now in later years, a resurgence of work in this field has taken place”
Gallery manager Anne Cakebread said: “ We are extremely excited to have two artists with such a history and reputation showing with us at Canfas.”

Meanwhile downstairs in Oriel 2, Adrian Bradbury will also be exhibiting a complete series of his abstract digital drawings.
His work is created from drawings and marks made on location in and around West Wales, before being combined with textures and other elements digitally, allowing very precise control of the image, in terms of colour and layering.

Carol & Mike Francis and Adrian Bradbury will be exhibiting with us from 28/02/20 until 23 /03/20 – Public opening 6pm Friday 28th February 2020 at Canfas.
