Meet the Artists & Drinks Reception
With live music by Hari Llewelyn Thomas
Join us for the launch of our new exhibition by Royal Cambrian Academy painters Sarah Lees and Patricia McParlin, at Oriel Canfas this Saturday, 1–3pm.

We’re also welcoming Rebecca Williams of Odyn Ddu Ceramics, with her richly painted stoneware decorated with sgraffito, shaped by the land and wildlife of Pembrokeshire.

Art comes alive when it’s shared, and Canfas is at its best when the gallery is full of conversation. Come and be part of another festive weekend in Cardigan.

All welcome!
THIS WEEKEND IN CARDIGAN
Friday 30th & Saturday 31st October 2026
Gŵyl ABERTEIFI LIVE

We’re delighted to be a venue for Gŵyl ABERTEIFI LIVE festival this Halloween weekend. The full line-up and schedule have now been released! It’s going to be like a mini Other Voices - venues across town with music, talks and DJ sets happening late into the night.
Buying your tickets early and helping to spread the word are so important in making sure that this kind of thing can happen again in the future (there’s no funding subsidy for this event). In any case, capacity is limited this year as this is a smaller scale event, so last minute ticket buying might not be an option!
Venues: Mwldan, Small World Theatre, GRAIN, The Cellar, Bethania Chapel & Oriel Canfas
£55 (£15 under 18s - limited)
Upcoming
Jennifer Allan, The Nuclear Family

Based in Cardigan, Ceredigion, Oriel Canfas has been championing contemporary art in West Wales since 2019. We work with painters, sculptors and makers whose practice engages seriously with the world — artists rooted in Wales and beyond, united by a commitment to work that resonates.

Our programme moves with the seasons: solo shows, group exhibitions, and special projects that respond to place, community and culture. Canfas is proud to sponsor the Gold Medal for Fine Art at the National Eisteddfod, reflecting our deep connection to Wales's creative life.

The gallery is free to enter and open to all. Whether you're a regular visitor or discovering us for the first time, you're welcome here.
