Marian Haf

Marian Haf Works from her garden studio in her native corner of Ceredigion taking inspiration from her life in rural west Wales a fine art painting graduate and self-taught printmaker working predominantly with collagraph enjoying its accessibility and possibilities. Marian works by tearing and drawing into mountboard which is inked intaglio resulting in soft tonal depth punctuated by sharp lines and staccato dots often combining it with embossing, Marian enjoys the quiet second narrative caught on a second glance or closer look. The pieces in the exhibition are a reflection of Marians memories, experiences and sentimentality connected to the way of life in Ceredigion.
